  Great experience. Friendly staff. Got to try their oyster specialty which was tasty. Brisket sandwich for lunch for $8 was a good deal and combo platter was very good. Will go back again.

  Had one of the most amazing meals ever at Mara's Homemade. We were a party of 16 and the people at Mara's were so friendly and gracious. The food was truly delicious

  Although a little pricey, worth every penny, as the food was outstanding! Everything was freshly made to order, and staff was friendly and completely professional. Atmosphere is warm and casual, welcoming to all. I really enjoyed the po' boy sandwich (I ordered mine half-shrimp and half-catfish), fries, mint tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade with a healthy splash of Jim Beam, the entire lunch topped-off refreshingly by an odd but amazing coupling of strawberry jalapeno ice cream.

  I really loved the place. Good food good drinks. The service was impeccable. Don't get fooled by the size or decor of the place

  The best food! We were four people and had trouble choosing because we wanted to eat everything on the menu! It was so delicious. The owners are incredible too. They overheard we were hot sauce fans and let us taste a sauce they were making. I cant wait to go back.
