Ñaño Ecuadorian Kitchen

Excellent ecuadorian lunch and fantastic & friendly service by Angel. We enjoyed the loaded bolón de verde and black coffee to start. Caldo de bola was a hit at our table. I ordered a bandera: guatita, seco de chivo, ceviche de camarón. Though it wasn't my favorite, the dish was beautifully plated and included yellow rice, sweet plantains, and sliced avocado. We plan to visit again when we're back in NYC- this time sticking with the lighter meals and definitely getting the bolón again!

Delicious flavors. Came early on a warm Friday, seated outside on a patio, only ones there. The seafood in coconut sauce was the highlight; other dishes were great too.

For those who would like to try Ecuadorian food and above all have the experience of its food and people (quality) El ñaño is the best place in New York, the attention is spectacular and fast, the food is very fresh and delicious, the owner is very friendly and always makes sure you are having a good time! I told him I was from Manabi and he was so excited that he played traditional music from my province and I felt at home! A place to come back

My friends and I had such a great experience here tonight. The staff was attentive and gracious (we might have been a *teeny* bit rowdy at times) and the margarita pitchers were amazing. We were a party of five people, and although we stayed for quite a while, we never felt rushed or pressured to give up our table. As others have said, the place is TINY and I think there was more seating outside than inside. However, I am a plus-size woman and I was comfortable at my table and felt like I had plenty of room despite the small space.

I had the Seco de Pollo…the chicken was so tender and the sauce was amazing. I am not a plantain person at all, but I even found myself nibbling on those.

I can’t really say too much about what my dining companions ordered, and I’m not sure any of them are going to remember, because did I mention the lovely margarita pitchers?

All in all, it was such a welcoming environment and the food and drinks were reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

Tasty foods🇪🇨 Ingredients were simple, plantains, potatoes and eggs and just so delicious and healthy! Lamb rice was perfect, meat was well cooked and tender, like the sauce very much! Of course Tres leches cake for a perfect ending. Good proportion for two people👌 Restaurant was cozy, has outdoor seats. The location wasn’t too far from a subway station, easy to access! Prices are lovely too.
We were staying too late, just a kindly reminder that to make sure the plates were empty then to clean the table. Still a wonderful late meal~
