Sam and his team of professionals really took great care of me. The facility has a friendly let's be happy atmosphere with great music; even for a baby-boomer Veteran like me. All the staff work hard to have a neat workplace. Their work is top quality, reasonable, and also puts the customer's riding safety first. Stop in just to talk and look at a wide variety of riding machines.
The people here are so wonderful! They helped me with my tire replacement 30 mins before closing right away and because their system was down it was free! Just such quality service and made my day! Good karma to this shop! Repair pros
This is a great store. I've bought all of my kids' bikes there. Really good selection of bikes but what sets them apart is the level of service. I recently bought a new bike for my commute; I have an artificial leg, and the folks who work there took a lot of time with me to help me get the right set up so I could comfortably, confidently and safely ride.
This has been a neighborhood staple for many years and as we know, shops come and go. But even with name changes, this UES bike shop is true to its core. The staff is helpful and the mechanics are the best. Would happily recommend this shop to anyone that's looking for a new bike or need to tune/service their existing ride. Thank you Bicycles NYC!
What everybody else said: this is a beautiful, well -stocked shop run with great integrity by a team that happens to include some of the most gifted bike mechanics around. I brought my commuter bike in with a couple of odd creaks and rumbles, the result of years of neglect from both me and past mechanics. A few days in the care of Sam and his colleagues and now she purrs like a Ferrari and rides like one, too. I'd schedule my next orthopedic surgery with them if I could. It's not my closest bike shop, but certainly worth the trip.
