  When strolling along Amsterdam, just pop in. You will be greeted by the quintessential NYC "Black and White" cookies in traditional icing colors and an assortment of other hues. Soft, sweet and although the main attraction of this bakery...there are many other offerings as well...enjoy!

  The best bakery in NYC. I really like all the pastries they have. Very delicious and fresh.

  I’m a diehard fan of frosted (rather than iced) black-and-white cookies, and Glaser’s Bakeshop (RIP) was my earthly ideal. Nobody in the city seems to make frosted black-and-whites anymore, but William Greenberg makes the next best thing, in my opinion.

  Haven't had a linzer torte or a black n white cookie in 15yrs!

  Good pastries for a very affordable price! Got like 4 pastries for $12. Got an apple turnover, apple puff pastry, a little pecan pie pastry thing, and an apricot pastry. All v good.
  
  Not sure why this place is only 3 stars at the time of writing but it’s definitely worth trying!
