  Words cannot express the gratitude that my family and I have for Dr. Thorne. I found Dr. Thorne on the internet after searching for a doctor to perform an otoplasty on my son. From the moment I met Dr. Thorne, I knew he was the right doctor. I felt very comfortable with him. Dr. Thorne was respectful, calm, comforting, professional, caring and kind. He took the time to explain everything and showed us before and after photos of his previous patients. Dr. Thorne created two beautiful, perfect, natural-looking ears for my son. My son's ears not only were prominent, but they were different sizes and needed to be cut and reshaped to match each other. On the day of surgery I had no fears or worries at all. I knew my son was in excellent hands. While waiting in the waiting room, I meet a lovely lady who had work done with Dr. Thorne. She spoke very highly about Dr. Thorne's work he did on her and her granddaughter. After the surgery my son was so ecstatic along with our entire family. If anyone is in need of a plastic surgeon, please us Dr. Thorne. He is wonderful.

  Dr.Charles Thorne performed a 3 part surgery reconstruction for my right ear which is impacted by Microtia. The proof really is in his work, he has an absolutely beautiful attention to detail, and a calming presence that has really guided me through this whole process. He truly is in my personal opinion, the best Plastic Surgeons in the Northeast area easily, whether for cosmetic or reconstructive. Could not recommend him enough!!

  I adore this man! I cannot say enough good things about him and his wonderful office staff. He took what could have been a very scary and difficult procedure and made me feel understood, safe, and cared for. He also brought in one of the top surgeons for deviated septum surgery to assist in making sure I was able to breathe like a champ when all was said and done. Dr. Thorne is a remarkably accomplished man who still treats each patient like they were his only patient. I am grateful for his kindness, patience, humility, and care. Thank you, Dr. Thorne!

  Dr. Thorne…what can I say? You cannot find a more kind doctor in the US. Dr. Thorne just helped our family complete a very intensive 4 part ear creation/reconstruction over the course of 1.5+ years. At each step of the process Dr. Thorne displayed care, compassion, clarity, and precision. We couldn’t be more pleased with the process and outcome. By the end of the process, Dr. Thorne felt virtually like a family member. I can recommend Dr T. will be the best decision you can make for whatever surgery or process you are considering. 10/5 stars.

  I had a botched otoplasty 37 years ago. (yes, 37 years ago.) Immediately afterwards I consulted a different doctor and was told there was nothing they could do, so I just went about my life until somebody referred me to Dr. Thorne. I made an appointment and he told me he could do a revision otoplasty, Best decision ever. Dr. Thorne is not only the expert when it comes to ears, he is also a very kind, caring doctor. I immediately felt comfortable discussing my situation with him and he explained everything to me very professionally with just enough humor to put me at ease. He was very patient as I asked endless questions during my initial appointment, prior to surgery, and at follow-up appointments. Wonderful bedside manner. The surgery was a success! Yes, it was a little pricey. But we are talking New York City and a top-notch doctor, who will definitely make sure you are satisfied with your results. I just wish I would have found Dr. Thorne years ago. Also, his office staff are very kind and helpful. Denise is always available to answer questions and responds quickly to emails. The whole experience was very pleasant and I would highly recommend Dr. Thorne.
