Please make a reservation before coming! There are always a lot of people here plus the space of the restaurant itself is not big . The hot pot is so nice. The broth is different from other places, but it tastes good. The server will cook the hot pot for you the first time, so remember not to do it by yourself.
we went there for client lunch meeting and had a great time. we went there at 12 noon and the place got packed in 10 mins. will definitely go again to try Sushi Tasting Menu again, its really good tasting menu that's good enough for 2 people. Also, the staff is really nice, considerate towards making sure to replace any food item in the sushi tasting menu that wasn't Halal with Halal option. good pricing and good food 👍🏻
This place is a gem in the East Village. On a summer afternoon, this place was still pretty busy so the food took a while to come, but the wait was so worth it because the food was incredible and the service was super accommodating. The hotpot we received was delicious, I definitely recommend the beef. And I am in love with the generous amount of chives. The chicken wings were super juicy and crispy, my favorite. The tofu was also soft and fresh, all the flavors blended together perfectly.
Wonderful authentic place for Japanese hotpot. For vegetarians they have a 10 vegetable hot pot that I highly recommend. The pork belly nabe is also very yummy. I recommend getting a reservation because they can get very busy in the evenings and during lunch. However, if you come right at noon when they open you can still snag a table.
