At that time the church was known as New York Tabernacle located on124 st. comprised of African American family clusters,. mostly from Virginia the Carolinas and Georgia.
My mother her 6 sisters their husbands,3 brothers their wives, I
children and grand children all attended,worshiped and served their God, the causes for their people and needs of the community all week long, not only Sundays. -
