Indeed, it was the first unique pizzeria that we’ve ever been in Times Square as this place was an old church back then. We also enjoyed the structure especially those colorful stained glass on the ceiling.
We went there Monday around 4:45PM for an early dinner. No waiting for a table. We ordered 24” Hawaiian pizza(which we finished the whole pie), fried calamari and Sicilian chicken wings.
✅ the waitstaff assigned to us was very welcoming and quick to pick up our order.
✅Definitely recommend the Sicilian chicken wings for appetizer👍
✨ The fried calamari is well cooked. However, I missed some flavor to taste but it was saved by the sauce.
✨🍕 For the pizza it was satisfactory.
One of the best pizza and garlic cheese bread I have had in New York. It's situated right at the Times Square and near Broadway so grab a bite before or after any shows/events. The only issue is you might have to wait if you are going at peak hours especially dinner time. We ended up waiting for 30 minutes easily on the two nights we visited but it was so worth it. They have vegetarian options as well and they also make half pie veg and half pie non veg pizzas. Their pasta was great too and their marinara sauce is extremely fresh and tangy. We loved it so much that we ordered it extra for our pizza as well and they didn't charge extra. The interiors are of a former church gives a very antique and unique vibe to this whole place.
I have not tried many pizza places in New York so I may not be the best reviewer here, but it was very good! John’s rolls were delicious! Pizza was great. Like the pepperoni more than the margarita. Atmosphere what very cool! An old church renovated, very neat history. Wait times were not that bad either, which is alway great. Will be back :)
Fabulous pizza place! So cool to walk around times square and then go to this awesome pizza place, just to walk in and it's located in a former church. The building and the ceiling is gorgeous. Pizza was delicious. I had the gluten free margarita, the crust is so good. One of my friends got a regular pepperoni, which was also delicious. Pizza is by the pie, no slices, therefore always made fresh!!
This pizza place was great. Not only does it have a beautiful location but the experience was nice too. Our server was very friendly and efficient. The serving size of the salad was large and could definitely feed two people. The pizza was so good too. Very fresh ingredients and very flavorful. I would definitely go back for more.
