Very compassionate & actively listens, responds, & recalls past conversations. I saw him for a couple of years while at university & returned as a client after moving back to the city. After six years, he remembered me & much about me. Very knowledgeable of medications & he worked with me instead of tossing random medications at me or refusing me medications I had done research into & thought would be helpful, instead engaging in discussion first to determine if they were a good fit. Best psych I’ve had & I’ve gone through many.

Dr. Girgis is an outstanding psychiatrist who possesses both skill and compassion. Based on these two measures, I would rate him head and shoulders above other psychiatrists I have encountered. Highly recommend him and very grateful to him for his care.
