Our first visit, and I am a rib freak! We went with their "Hog Wild" 1/2 chicken, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, 2 sides and corn muffins. Everything was excellent, portions were generous, plenty enough for two meals and take home leftovers. The staff was very warm and friendly. Prices, very fair for what we got. Can't wait to go back, it will be soon.
Incredible food, catered for a wedding. The smoked wings as an appetizer set a high bar for the entire meal, which was matched by the pulled pork main dish. The assortment of sides ensured something for everyone. The baked beans stole the show, the best side dish I've ever had with barbecue. A+ food experience.
We came to this place after a long day of softball and on our way home I wanted to stop to get something to eat. The service was great and quick. We ate next to the building at the picnic tables. The food was amazing. I recommend the ribs. This place does not disappoint!
It's a tiny place, mostly for take out but there is some seating for eat in. The menu staples are limited to a few items and side dishes, and they only accepted cash when I went. The food was really, really good. The brisket was mildly smokey, the fat layer had a beautiful crust on it, and the meat was crazy tender. The portions were ample. I wanted to try the ribs on my 2nd visit but couldn't resist getting the brisket again. I did not regret my choice. Give 'em a try.
My friend and I went there for lunch. We chose the pulled pork sandwich and the brisket sandwich and each had a side. The meat was very tender and flavorful and the sides of coleslaw and broccoli salad were also good. We were also given a complementary sample of the Brunswick stew, which was a little spicy but tasty.
The restaurant has been redecorated and has a very homey atmosphere but is small with limited seating. There is also no table service. The only drawback I felt was that they use disposable bowls for the sides and serve the food on a paper-lined tray. I would have preferred actual dishes and silverware instead.
