I've watched many families come into this facility from the assisted living side, from the hospitals,and also other skilled facilities.
This place is clean, has a good staff, Great nursing team, administrative team, and great food.

The activity director is phenomenal with keeping the seniors busy and engaged.

The doctor comes in weekly and has a PA who comes in more or when needed.
There's an on location notary ( contact her 2 days in advance )

Lots of parking,safe atmosphere, large furnished rooms, and so much more.

Would like to leave a positive review of the Rambling Oaks Skilled Nursing Facility. Dad was admitted for physical therapy to regain strength back after his hospital stay. First of all, the facility itself is very nice inside and outside. More importantly however, we feel like the staff did a great job in caring for him. During the check-in process, Elle was very attentive to his immediate needs and took care of all of our concerns. Dad was admitted really needing a bath after his hospital stay. We asked if he could get one that evening and one of the employees came in after he was off for the day just so he could get him his bath. The nurses and physical therapy staff seem to really care. Dad is not the easiest patient and requires a great deal of patience. The nursing staff provided him with the best care that they could even when he was being difficult. PT staff did an excellent job working with him to regain strength back in his arms and legs. Someone cleaned his room on a daily basis, which is something not done at another local rehab facility we have been to. They also had good choices for food on their menu and did not charge extra for a guest plate. This was very nice as it allowed my mom to eat lunch with him daily. We have to trust that our loved ones will receive the care that they would get at home and I feel like the employees at Rambling Oaks do this. Thank you so much for taking care of my dad. I hope we don't have to come back, but if we do, we would choose your facility again.

Mom mother feel and broke her pelvis, was non weight bearing per doctor’s orders, and needed 24/7 care. We had her at one facility, but got her out of there after 3 horrible, horrible days, and moved her to Rambling Oaks. I can’t say enough good things about Rambling Oaks. From the start they just made everything better not only for my mother, but also made everything easier for my wife and I as well.

The main nursing and PT staff are some of the best nurses and PT staff I have seen outside of a hospital. Not only are they great caregivers and genuinely care about their patients, but they use their own personal time to call you after they have gotten home for the day, to talk to you about your loved one. The administrator, the business staff, and the rest of the staff are all equally as good. Plus everyone working there takes the time to get to know not only the patients on a first name basis, but also the patients’ families as well.

If you have a loved one that needs 24/7 care, regardless if it’s a temporary situation as it was with my mother, or if it’s something more permanent, I would highly recommend you look at Rambling Oaks before making any final decisions.
