LEGOLAND® New York Hotel

Absolutely one of the best kid-friendly hotels I have ever stayed at. First, staff are amazingly friendly even given the loads of families moving throughout. They go above and beyond to answer questions. The rooms are comfortable and spacious enough for a family of 4 or 5 and come with a mini fridge. The resort is about a 10 minute drive from Target/Walmart if you left anything. Oh! Did I tell you how CLEAN this place is!! Great Wolf Lodge should take notes on customer service and amenities.

If you stay in the hotel, you can get a deal on an inclusive breakfast. It's family style where they give you just enough ( to cut down on food waste). It isn't gourmet, but it gets the hunger Job done. Please don't complain to management..

What a fun hotel for the whole family! You can choose your room theme from multiple choices, including Kingdom, Pirates, Ninjas, and Lego Friends. There is a small puzzle when you first get into the room. Find the answers to the questions and unlock the safe to find some courtesy Lego sets. Don't forget there's a giant set of bricks in the room to play with at anytime as well! The pool is a nice way to cool down after a hot day at the park, and if you'd rather stay in the air conditioning you can always play in the Lego castle in the lobby and build to your heart's content.

I came here with my husband and three kids and it was awesome. My kids are ages 8, 6 and 4. This place is perfect for families with young kids. The rooms are a good size with separate sleeping quarters for the kids. Breakfast is free for hotel guests so don’t miss that.

The hotel lobby has a play area for the kids right near the restaurant and the bar which is great. At night there is live entertainment for the kids in the lobby while the parents can sit down and have a drink. All the kids play together so you don’t have to worry about them being alone. My kids didn’t want to leave.

The park itself is designed to walk right through each area with ease. Again, the rides are for younger kids. You can get through the park in 5 hours. It isn’t crowded and there are so many activities and food stops. The lego city at the end was the best!!!

Lastly, the staff if amazing. They truly want you to be happy. With three kids, I’ve been to my fare share of parks and this place has the most lovely staff. They aren’t grumpy. They greet you with a smile and a warm heart.

My husband and I will definitely return before the kids get older.

I would recommend this place 100% and to stay over at least one night at the actual Lego hotel. You have to experience the disco elevator rides!

This was our second stay at the Legoland hotel. This season the pool doesn't open until noon which is the same time as checkout. The creative classes are in the afternoons only as well, we tried them and made a cute snail but my kids were melting down from a long day at the park.

The staff were amazing. They went out of their way to make it special for our kids, they loved the playground.

The hotel was very damp, we had a lot of rain and our wet clothes didn't dry out in the room even though they were hanging.

The vegan breakfast platter was decent, although it's disappointing that the vegetarian platter sausage is morning star and contains egg/dairy. At breakfast they can make the chocolate milk with whatever non-dairy milk they have on hand - one day it was oat, the next almond. For dinner the kids had spaghetti but there is not currently a veggie burger/entree on menu so we had a hummus platter and a side of plain fries. We brought fruit and snacks to supplement, there is a small mini fridge in the room.

All and all, we hope to be back again next year. It's a lot of fun and it's very convenient to not have to go far to get to the park.

Sadly I have to give the hotel a 3. We just finished our stay and while I loved a lot of it, some just didn’t meet the expectations I guess I had. Biggest thing I want to say up front is the staff was amazing. Like five star staff from every single member I dealt with. From house keeping to the two manger that helped with our sons allergies.

My big issues were the food and the lack of it. The restaurant food was sadly just terrible. For what you paid ($115 for two adults and two children, no drinks) and what you got just didn’t match up.

Plus having just this one small play area for so many guests felt strange too. The park closes at 5 so after that you really only have this once small area to bring your kids (plus the pool on a nice day).

All in all I’m I left feeling ok with my stay. The rooms are very cool and clean and honestly after writing this review I’m going to go with four stars just because the rooms really are nice and the staff is top notch.
