(January 2, 2018, 1:21 pm)My six-year-old son was referred to Dr. Feldman’s office for possible vision therapy. His first appoint included a very lengthy and thorough eye exam—over an hour. It was determined that he did indeed need vision therapy. It has been about seven weeks and the difference is amazing!!!
Writing was always difficult for my son. His spacing and sizing was awful. He wasn’t able to copy things from the board. Simple writing assignments would lead to crying, arguing and frustration for everyone. He was acting out in school because it was too difficult for him. After seven weeks, his writing has improved drastically! His sizing, spacing ability to copy etc. . . have all showed a remarkable improvement. Last week he had to write 7 sentences using his spelling words. He wrote the 7 sentences ALL ON HIS OWN in about 10 minutes!!!!! There was no crying, no arguing—NOTHING!!! I was completely floored!!!
My son never enjoyed coloring or drawing. I had tried different crayons, coloring books, markers, colored pencils etc. . . The last 2 weeks he has been drawing all the time. I have pictures hanging everywhere. I am so happy to see this!!
Dr. Feldman and his assistant Bonnie are wonderful!! They truly enjoy working with kids. The rest of the staff is great too.

The girls up front know your name, are always pleasant and always smiling! Dr. Gollinger is such a wonderful, caring professional. He always has times for our Yankee stories. His exams are always thorough and never rushed. I would recommend any one in the area looking to have their eyes looked at to go to Monroe Family Eyecare. You won't be disappointed.
