John Welch is a true master craftsman who takes pride in his work. He made our dreams come true. We planned a custom home and were looking for someone to help us in the design of our kitchen and bathrooms. We spent lots of time on Houzz and visiting showrooms. We tried several designers but each one pushed their own product line and didn’t take the time to get to know us and our sensibilities. Then we struck gold- we were introduced to John.
John has endless patience and is a great listener. He developed a sense of our design taste and developed drawings that matched our needs – and added his expertise and extra special touches that achieved the rustic elegance that we wanted in our home. We were very particular about the cabinet design and quality and the color scheme. In John’s beautiful showroom he helped us visualize the right products and color schemes to meet our dreams. We thought we were going to drive him crazy with our refinements, but his patient meticulous style matched our desire to “get it just right.”
John stuck with us through the ordering, the installation, and the final punch list. On the job-site John was like a mother hen in ensuring that our cabinets, tile, and appliance installation were properly coordinated and respected by all of the trades that had to work together to get the job done right.
Kitchen and bath design can be a real challenge – picking the right cabinets, the right lay out, the right color, the right appliances etc. John guided and supported us through every phase of the work. We ended up with a dream kitchen which is both highly functional and esthetically beautiful. Quality all the way! We dreamt of a master bathroom that was like a spa. We ended up with an elegant spa in our master suite.

Working with John Welch proved to be a most positive, fun and educational experience! John is a knowledgeable, precise and caring individual, who takes great pride in every aspect of his work. Everything must be perfect or it is not acceptable to John. We remodeled bathroom cabinets and countertops with John. He oversaw everything in the design, ordering, installation and clean-up processes from measurements, to choosing/matching our contemporary design, colors and even doorknobs and faucets! He expected and received precision work from everyone who worked with him and we learned so much from him. The workmanship and materials used were all of the highest quality. We highly recommend John Welch Fine Kitchens for any and all remodeling work you will have done!
