I am a volunteer and Board Member for Supportive Care of Orleans. My time spent with this organization is 100% voluntary. I dedicate my time because I believe in the Hospice mission and I see day in and out the caring support offered to the patients, families and caregivers who utilize these services.
The decision of moving a loved one in to an assisted care facility is one of the hardest a family can have to make. On September 13, 2022 we made the decision to move Glen Martin, beloved spouse, father, grandfather, and great grandfather in to the Supportive Care of Orleans residence. The support that we, and he received at home and the care and support that was given and extended to us at Supportive Care was second to none. From the nurses and aids to the pastor that came in and out we felt so at ease and cared for during the last few days that we all had together. We can't thank the staff enough for their expert and compassionate care that they offered during this most difficult time. It is truly a gift to have an organization with a staff of this caliber in our community. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
The Family of Glen E. Martin
Supportive Care of Orleans is incredibly helpful and compassionate. Everyone is very kind and caring and their mission is so wonderful!
When my wife was under the care of Hospice in 2019, I had her home for 15 weeks and the nurses and home healthcare aid and social worker and minister each came once a week. We were very grateful for their caring and supportive help. We both benefited greatly from their support and help and caring. I also was in touch after her passing and supported by everyone I talked with.
