Shelby Center Church

My recent experiences in attending both Sunday church service, and Wednesday night Bible studies for several weeks now, have shown me that Shelby Center Church's foundation, is the Word of God, which is very important to me. The reference used for teachings, is the Bible. The environment/Pastor/congregation are God-centered, welcoming, inviting, open, non-judgmental, respectful, loving, gentle, accepting, genuine, and trustworthy. I feel very comfortable, to participate in discussions and ask questions, and I feel safe to be myself. I am happily reminded that Jesus meets me where I am; loves me just the way I am, and gently teaches me His Ways.
I look forward to the fellowship, and teaching that I benefit from, by attending Shelby Center Church.

Always a pleasure visiting Shelby Center Church! Welcoming, bible-believing, God-worshiping, Saviour-serving, sweet people and fellowship. Pastor Steve Pawley always on point with sound, biblical doctrine and preaching. He and his family have been a tremendous blessing to mine. He led both my husband and I to the Lord! We received solid biblical marital counseling, as well as child-rearing help. His love for others and the Lord is evident through his testimony both personally and through his church. Thankful for this sweet gem of a church!

I travel to visit this loving, caring, place to worship Jesus. Pastor Steve Pawley preaches & teaches wholeheartedly with passion from the bible.He loves our Lord! He cares about each person in his congregation as well. There is a feeling of belonging and peace as you pray & learn together, from children to the aged. How grateful I am to have found this very special haven of like-minded parishioners.

My wife and I stopped in on a Wednesday night and we were immediately made to feel right at home. The music wasn't mushy, nor was it overwhelming to our ears, and to be sure it was God honoring. The preaching was straight forward, and we could tell that the preacher spent a lot of time in preparation. If you are looking for a church that is loving, compassionate and actually teaches and preaches the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, then I would strongly recommend that you give this church a try. We would attend there if we didn't live almost 2 hours away.

Shelby Center church is the most friendliest church I have ever been apart of. I’m so glad I chose to come to this church and I have been coming here 9 years now this coming year in February. You are made to feel welcome and part of a family, way from your real family. Come join us we will welcome you with open opens and treat you like family.
