(January 31, 2017, 3:04 pm)Ernie and Glenn are AWESOME! Seriously. My fiancé got me private instruction as a gift and we took the trek from NJ to Carmel, NY and it was SO worth it! I wanted to build a parquet table for our newly renovated kitchen - and that we did! It came out even better than expected - and even more importantly, we had a blast over the two days. They are the funniest, nicest guys! I can't wait to come back up to work on another project. Definitely check this place out!!!

Wonderful instruction in a safe and supporting environment.
I started with just a desire and some equipment and took three classes over the summer.
I am now producing wonderful work safely. (I have attached the presents I made my family for Christmas.)
The instruction is kind, gentle, and absolutely knowledgeable.
I would think ANYONE whatever skill level can benefit.
One of the nice things as well is I can still here the instructor's voice in my head, and I have the sensation in my hands of him taking my hand showing me how to fix a catch etc.
Most importantly I will be back this summer (I am a school teacher so have summers off)!

Glenn taught me how to turn some bracelets on the lathe and also and introduced me to some other tools that I've now bought for my own workshop! Glenn and Ernest are the sweetest. I had tons of fun spending the day woodworking with them and can't wait to go back!

I personally have bowls, spoons, a cutting board and a rocking chair that were made there. Ernie and Glenn are patient and skilled craftsmen who love to share their knowledge with others. Their enthusiasm for their work is contagious and makes the classes truly an enjoyable experience.
