  The people at the surf club may try and tell you this whole beach is private but don't listen--the Breezy Point Tip is part of the National Park and you have every right to be there. This place is a bit of a trek, but the beach is nice and the view is nicer.

  Going there 35 years. We love it. Bring the family. Fish together. Surf. Eat drink Be merry. It's a world away without getting on a plane or ship. Plenty of Fluke strippers blues kingfish blacks on the rocks with fidler crabs. Make sure you have a permit and follow the rules. Respect the beach.

  A hidden gem. You can almost forget you are in NYC. Buy the 4x4 fishing permit so you can drive down the two track to the lot closer to the beach, just a short walk from the dune. Head through Breezy and turn just before the entrance to the Breezy beach club. Decent fishing but the views, surf and solitude make it an unforgettable experience.
