Metropolitan Podiatry: Michael Galoyan, DPM

As diabetic old man,in summer 2021, I got an open wound on big toe of left foot. Dr Galoyan tried to cure it, but suddenly foot and and toe became red and swollen. suspecting a bone infection occurred through the wound, he sent me to hospital for culture analysis. I was hospitalized for several days, and podiatrist there said my toe should be partially amputated. I asked them that before surgery, they they talk with Dr.Galoyan ( who wanted while in hospital, to keep him informed) about my condition. After consultation with him, hospital podiatrists instead of surgery, discharge me home for a long term treatment with antibiotics under care of Dr Galoyan. He started a treatment with estimated 80% bad and 20% good chances for toe to saved from amputation. In following 3-4 months with treatment in progress, a foot redness and swollness were eliminated, the wound slowly healed and toes swollness remarkably receded, thus toe was saved from amputation. Saving a toe was important success for me, since u have already had one toe on the right foot, partially amputated. (speedy procedure years ago in another hospital). Dr. Galoyan's expertise and dedicated personal approach to his patients, make him an exceptional podiatrist. I highly recommend him to anyone with any foot problems.

I am 47 years old and have had severe pain in my left ankle, it was so unbearable I could not sleep at night or walk properly. Dr. Michael is absolutely the best and he was very helpful. I was having some major foot issues and pain and from a year after being treated from him I feel so much better then before. I am so glad I switched from previous Podiatrist to Dr. Michael as I call him. I am newly diagnosed with Diabetes and have severe arthritis and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome so my feet are not doing well to say the least. Dr. Michael takes his time in addressing my many issues relating to my feet and I am confident as long as I stay with him all will be well. Also I have terrible flat feet and have had numerous orthotics made from previous podiatrists all to no avail. Dr. Michael said he would make one that works and just like he said he would do he did. I have referred my neighbor to him and she still thanks me. I give this doctor 5 Stars!
