While going through my divorce everyone kept on saying that I should use Eric and I am so happy I did. Throughout the whole process we were on the same page, I would always discuss prior to a hearing exactly what our goals were for that hearing and Eric would always work with me on achieving those goals. The few times we disagreed on a strategy or goal he would advise me based on what he thought we would be getting, but if I told him that I still wanted to proceed my way he would follow through as if it was his idea. He was always on point, kept me informed, and didn't make any promises that weren't kept. Which in today's divorce court world is extremely rare to find.
He also was able to help us to the point that we eventually settled with the aid of a 3rd party. Even prior to our settlement, we had extended a settlement offer to the other side, but it set the stage for the current settlement. But without his advice and tactices we wouldn't have been in a position to settle this at this point, so I'm very thankful he was able to set us up for this. I also found him to be very sensitive towards the many issues and emotions both from myself and my community.
I absolutely would recommend him to anyone getting divorced in this area. While expensive he will work with you to keep his costs down, and he is absolutely worth it. If you want a cheap sleazy lawyer look elsewhere, if you want to win then choose Eric Ole Thorsen. -
