Tough Traveler Ltd

hello to whom it may concern! I have no complaints, only props! This bag was bought for me for my hs graduation by an Albany friend ( I used to live there too. She still does!). I graduated in 1981; that's 42 yrs ago (I think!). I turned 60 this year. This bag has been back and forth from NY to Fla MANY times, served as a backpack while in Europe for 4 months in 1985; been on MANY planes, trains and automobiles; been to MANY MANY beaches, and is still going strong. Not one repair has been needed. I call it my lucky bag and won't go on a trip without it. As I look forward to retirement in 5 yrs and hopefully returning to Europe, this bag will come. I will bequeath it to my daughter in my will! 😝

In 1985, I was in medical residency. I needed a little bag to carry around the operating room to hold my scopes, equipment, small notebook, etc. That Tough Traveler bag is still with me today, held up great. These bags are made in USA and worth it. Pass on the $39 cheapo that cost only $6 dollars to make. You get what you pay for. Dr B. Dallas, TX

We had a Tough Traveler bag that we got in 1985 and it went on many trips with us and our children over the years. We needed to replace it as mildew got to it after a very rainy trip in St. Thomas. We contacted Tough Traveler and we were glad to see that they are still in operation in upstate NY! They recommended a great replacement and we hope to have it for another 36 years. Who knows? Maybe we will be traveling in our 90s! We are so impressed with the quality of the bags and their great customer service.

In the past week I have visited Tough Traveler twice without an appointment and was immediately assisted by staff on each occasion. I was interested in redesigning the functionality of an ergonomic guitar strap which I had recently purchased. They immediately got involved in developing a new design, used their adaptable parts, and stitched "on the spot", making for an immediate result. It seems rare to walk into a business and receive this level of involvement. My new strap design achieved all that I wanted. The service quality at Tough Traveler made for an excellent experience.
