Twin Oaks

Immaculately maintained, QUIET, campground! The owner was at our site cleaning out the fire ring before we even left! There are waterfront sites Waterview sites mountain view sites and shaded woods sites. There is a recreation house, swimming pool, and beautiful small lake. Swimming is allowed in both the pool and the lake. There are many full timers here But spaces are reserved for Shorter term stays. There is some distant traffic noise, but it did not bother us. There’s also a very distant train which we found pleasant to listen to. The bathhouse is aging but well-maintained. Showers cost $.25 for nine minutes, but the water pressure in my shower was very low and the temperature fluctuated greatly. There are plenty of hooks and a bench in the stall, one of my big pet peeves when there aren’t! We had a beautiful site by the water and enjoyed seeing the rainbow that formed when the sun hit the spray. An Osprey course of fish right in front of our site, really got to see!

Campground is run by some of the nicest people I've ever met. We usually stay overnight to visit family while they camp. Friendly environment, tons to do for the youngers, and it's all around a nice lake so getting around is a breeze. Campground has a nature trail, heated pool, and a small store to grab anything you may have forgotten or want.

Such an amazing weekend on my son's first real camping trip (he's 4). We opted to rent a cabin for the weekend and the choice was right. Clean, comfortable, and the view omg the view. The owners were very pleasant, kind, and attentive to my concerns and assured us everything will be fine. It was better than fine! Thank you Karen and Lawrence for an excellent time. We hope to return next year 😀 5 stars don't cover it, its way better than 5 stars. I highly recommend Twin Oaks Campground.

Twin oaks has been part of my family for 35+ years. My father made it a tradition over the years and this is now where I take my chimdren. The owners have improved this camp in so many ways. Great place to make wonderful memories, meet new people and take in the views. We are so grateful for the wonderful memories we are able to make with our famililies and its all thanks to the owners who make sure everything is just right.we are always greeted with smiles and kind conversation. Cabins are great by the way. The cabins are a family favorite for us. This is where you go for family fun, anniversaries, family reunions. There is fishing, ingrown pool for swimming, playground for littles, horseshoes, and so much more. Great nature trails as well.

This is a clean, well maintained campground that is quiet and peaceful. The views are spectacular and the pond is gorgeous. The owners are friendly and helpful! My trailer hit ball was loose when I arrived and Larry (one of the owners) helped diagnose it as the wrong size shank on my hitch! He had a new proper sized ball in stock and even installed it for me so we would be ready for the next leg of our journey. So helpful and friendly this one act helped save me half a day going to find it myself! Such a great experience, I highly recommend this campground!
