What a great bike shop to have! I turned up with a wonky bike while riding the Empire State Trail and they made time to fix everything right there. Amazing service.

Excellent excellent service. Dunno their names, but the guys who work in this shop are true professionals. Kind, unpretentious (if you’ve been to enough bike shops, you know this is an anomaly on par with snow in summer) knowledgeable, and affordable. I needed a bike rack that I could attach to a rental car (so, something I wouldn’t have to drill into the body of the car) and they had just the thing. And as I was ringing up, one of the guys offered advice that he couldn’t have known is exactly the advice I need every time I start a project- just be patient, assume installation’ll take twenty minutes, that way you’ll be happy if it’s less. As a side note, I was in a huge bind the very next day when I accidentally put the wrong key in the ignition of my rental car. It was well and truly stuck about a half-inch in. I called locksmiths and car mechanics on the area and none were any help. I was a block away from the Bicycle Rack, so I thought, hell, let’s see if they can help. They lent me a spray can of grease to loosen it and a wrench to pull it out. Worked like a treat. It literally could’ve been a mistake that set me back $2000 or so, if I’d damaged the ignition getting it out, if I couldn’t get it out at all, but because of their kindness, it ended up being no big deal. Cannot thank them enough.

I have loved this spot since the early 80s. Just a hole-in-the-wall bike shop, with super smart and friendly bike guys cranking out the work. They fixed up my 30 year old vintage barn find bike and got it running like new! Highly recommend

I had been having big trouble with my shifting and another shop couldn’t solve the issue. Mike diagnosed the problem on the spot and replaced the worn parts, made recommendations on how to better maintain my bike. He also got my bike back to me in 2 days. This is the shop for honest, well informed, fantastic quality bike sales and repair. They have been here a long time and they really knw what they are doing! Pleasant and super knowledgeable! Skilled and very fair.
