Urban Cowboy Lodge

Amazing experience! Staff were fantastic and so so incredibly friendly and helpful, rooms were AMAZING (highly recommend the Alpine bathing suites), and the food was delicious. Special shout outs to Lemon and Carly and their whole team for making this trip so great!!

The property is beautiful. The lodge itself is a beautiful replica of an old swiss hunting lodge. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I went a few times to eat and the food and wine are fantastic. Well curated wine list. Unpretentious yet elevated. I went for the labor day party and the vendor they had for the day selling lobster rolls was fantastic. The special menu they did for the day was so delicious we kept on ordering dish after the dish. Its well worth a trip up to Big Indian just for this.

We ate here and enjoyed our dinner immensely. The atmosphere was divine… a bit kitschy, a bit campy, and thoroughly enjoyable. The food was delicious, as were our drinks and the service was top notch. Highly recommend a stop here. Anyone can see there is a whole lot of love and attention to the smallest of design details that went into making this one very special place. We are impressed, in love, and hoping to return.

I was up here for a night for a work retreat and it was divine. The property is beautiful on a nice chunk of land in the Catskills. Other cabins I have stayed at have that musky smell due to being in such a remote, damp area but Urban Cowboy was comfy and immaculate. The staff is fantastic and incredibly accommodating, every detail of the property is well thought out and the big soaking tub with a view is a major plus. We had so much fun bonding as a team with endless on-property activities and nooks and crannies to relax. I told my family how much I enjoyed my stay and we are already thinking about doing a reunion up here. I definitely recommend staying here for a weekend to relax, unwind and have fun.
