Northeast Off-Road Adventures

Great experience. Really teaches you the mechanic and logic behind the drive. They are definitely safety first. Great folks to work with. Highly recommend anyone who own a 4x4, all wheel drive, 4L or 4H to come and experience the true functions of the vehicle. I have much more appreciation for my vehicle for what it can do and can not do. We did our first beginner lesson and cant wait to come back for more advance outing.

We had our 2017 Jeep Willys for about a year and never did any off-roading other than the beach. We really wanted to get more serious so Google led me to NORA. Boy am I glad it did!
The 5-hour private training (beginner level, of course!) was exceptional. I learned a lot about off-road driving, but especially about safety. I also learned a few things about my vehicle that I didn't know before.
Trainer Alex was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We started easy and then progressed to more difficult challenges. I learned how to get unstuck from every predicament that Alex put me in!

The next day we took the Hunter mountain tour and that was also amazing. The NORA crew were extremely professional, organized, and well prepared. I felt totally safe at all times.
We even went back later that day for the night tour of Hunter.

Thank you NORA for helping us on our way on our off roading journey! We can't wait to go back from more advanced training and other excursions.

Got a Jeep with a dream to learn to really enjoy it and offroading. NORA has been an amazing experience teaching us how to use our Jeep, practical experience on several tours, and off road training! Great for all levels. We have done this several times and always love it.

I found NORA when I was looking for off-road instruction with my 2022 Tacoma TRD Off-Road. There were some options closer to home but they seemed more intense than what I was looking for. NORA seemed perfect so I made the drive to New York from Virginia. I wasn't disappointed. Besides having a lot of fun with both the other drivers and the crew I gained confidence with using the 4x4 features of my vehicle. I was pleased that, although being outnumbered by Jeeps, the crew at NORA was familiar with my vehicle. I was also pleased that everything was optional. If I didn't feel comfortable with an activity with my vehicle I could skip it and choose an easier option. This was important as I wasn't planning on off-roading every weekend - I just wanted to familiarize myself with my vehicle without damaging it. Attached are photos from both days. Driving training was on the first day and recovery techniques and workshops on the second. Lots of fun both days. The area is beautiful as well. We could see the Milky Way after finishing up our Saturday night drive - an added bonus.

Great experience from the purchase and all the way to airing up before departure. The team of professionals shows you how to drive your 4x4, use spotters, find and drive a line, and respect the environment. We had a really good onboarding, with an emphasis on safety. Definitely an experience to repeat. For the new 4x4 owners you'll learn a lot, and gain confidence in your vehicle's capabilities. For the experienced, you'll likely pick up a few pointers. Definitely an awesome experience and a very professional staff.
