Warren County Social Services

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The people at Warren County Social Services have always been polite and cordial with me whenever I needed to visit. I've thrown them a couple of curve balls and although the situation was frustrating, they remained patient and help me resolve the issues. The people in security and at the window are the first people that you'll see and they are always nice as can be. They were extremely good with my children as well.

I was appalled at all the negative reviews of the Warren county department of social services. They have been nothing less than kind and helpful for me. They are overworked and understaffed and it seems also under appreciated. With my own eyes I saw one time that people were denied heap because they made $10 too much a month. Now that is a shame but rules are rules and they must follow them. They don't do any bending and twisting. It could cost them their job. If you are polite and give them the documentation they need it would make the process much more amenable to both sides.Ease up on the criticism and realize they are trying to help you. They need more employees and more kind words. I thank all the social service workers of Warren county. Most of the problems are with the applicants. They are too dumb to not bring rent receipts and power bills and other living expense receipts. Documentation people documentation.
