The 1000 Acres Ranch Resort

Recently stayed at the ranch for the first time as a girls trip. We had so much fun horseback riding, kayaking and swimming. The ranch is under new management and they are doing an amazing job turning it around - shout out to Kate! We felt very welcomed and attended to - even got set up with line dancing lessons. Cabins were cool and clean. Had an amazing time overall!

This place is amazing. Brittany an Brandi are great trail guides. Gave us all an outstanding time from the river ride to the fast rides. Horses are dead broke very safe for beginner to advanced riding you will enjoy it. I will be going back. Staff is extremely friendly an accommodating.

My wife and i had a wonderful time. We went for our anniversary. Staff is very friendly. The wranglers were great and we loved talking with them on our rides. We had a great time and plan on coming back soon. The only thing, the activities don't always happen that are scheduled. 1000 Acres is a fun dude ranch.

Came here for my sister’s birthday and was she was so excited to do the cattle sorting that the website promotes. We were told multiple times we would be able to sort cattle we just had to let them know at the barn. Once we arrived at the barn we found out there was no cattle despite what everyone else had said. Kate apologized to us for the lack of cattle, after she had found out what we were being led to believe by others, and did an amazing job of turning our trip around. She gave us such an amazing trip while at the ranch. While my family is full of advanced riders, I was feeling a little unsure of myself when we first started out. Kate helped me get my confidence in riding back and I couldn’t thank her enough for giving me that experience. She was so amazing and really helped make the trip worthwhile for my family!
