Things which they make and are amazing:
    Chocolate milk - decidant
Chocolate yogurt - better than pudding
Mustard Maple Yogurt dip - I choose this over chip dip
Actual cheese - all so yummy!

    Treat yourself and come here!

I drive over an hour just to buy their cheddar cheese and halfnhalf. Friendly service and a chance to watch them working at the vats. Would highly recommend that anyone give them a try. Don't get me started on their Greek yogurt because I want it to be there for me! Yum.

TL;DR: MUST try the Quark cheese (cream cheese alternative I think) and the...EVERYTHING.

Honestly, I’m super excited that something like this has finally popped up in the region. We see stuff like this all the time in the DC -area, and it’s such a treat to come home to a place in walking distance with great cheese, biscuits, cheesecakes farm fresh beef and a special top off of coffee on your way out of the door to say thank you for shopping to the customer. Can’t wait for the observation room to open up, this would be a super-awesome place to bring kids to watch the cheese-making and the rest of the food made real-time.

Long Version 🤗, better grab a coffee or some 🍿:

I’m originally from the area, about an eight minute walk or so down the street. So since COVID I’ve been popping in and returning back home much more frequently than in years past to visit family, snowboard over in Vermont at Okemo and Stowe, camping, hiking, etc., and on this most recent/current trip I ran out of cream cheese for my morning bagel and yogurt w/fruit before my AM 🚴🏽 ride. So of course living in a city like DC for so long has spoiled me when it comes to walking/driving, and with my having been super-against driving again to Hannaford like always to grab those random one-off things we always run out of at the “worst time” I decided to just walk to a small locally owned grocery instead.

Lightbulb moment 💡💡💡: why not pop over to the old Lewis’ Supermarket and grab some cream cheese while getting a walk in, just like the good ol’ days back in the summer months when we would play ball at Derby Park all-day then constantly grab snacks, food and RX Cola when we were thirsty, hot and hungry (no idea why a bunch of kids playing ball in the summer heat wanted RC Cola, and also, no idea whatever happened to that drink).

So once I finally arrive, PJ’s still on of course 🥼 and coffee mug in hand ☕️, I got a little sad originally, thinking “oh no what is this “Argyle Cheese” place 🤦‍♂️?”

Disappointment and face-palming quickly turned to 🌈’s and 🦋’s after a quick chat with one of the employees and a quick tour I ended up bagging the following items:

    1. Two types of cheesecake ‘blueberry’ and ‘cookies & cream’ (AMAZING btw) 🍮

    2. Two different types of these little cheese biscuit-bread-snack things (spicy, regular, and also AMAZING) 🍞

    3. Then of course because why not, fresh apple cider donuts 🍩

    4. And last but not least, that thing I originally came for — cream cheese — which they did NOT have 😞. But wait a minute, “we have something better, Quark, which is very similar to cream cheese but lighter.” Again a little redundant but you get the gist, the Quark was really delish and they offer a plain version or an herbal version.

Definitely a must-visit if you’re passing through Hudson Falls, or even a local looking to source locally-raised beef (that review is pending 😇).

    Thanks for reading!

The cheese and yogurt products that they produce are superb. They have a small walk-in retail store where you can sample andpurchase their products (as well as local honey, eggs, maple syrup, etc...) adjoining the kitchen where they create the cheese and yogurt. The prices are fair for the excellent quality of their products and the folks who run the place are very friendly and willing to answer questions about the products.
