I’ve been a proponent of nuclear power and was thrilled to learn that a large portion of Rochester energy needs are being met by a clean energy source. Very cool !!

Clean, safe, carbon free power. Despite what those 1 stars reviews will say Nuclear is not only safe, but releases less radiation that coal power

My family and I farm roughly 50 acres of orchards on the property of this power plant. We have nothing but respect and admiration for Exelon and their employees. This power plant is now the oldest operating nuclear reactor in the US fleet, but it continues to defy its age because of the top notch operation run by Exelon here in Ontario, NY. The argument against nuclear power is a purely emotional one, and if net-zero carbon emissions is a true goal of the United States, nuclear power has to be part of the solution!

I am impressed by how this plant defies its age. The staff maintains this plant impeccably. You'd be hard pressed to find chipped paint in this place.
I provide reactor testing services to this plant just after every fuel reload. I always look forward to the visit every 18 months. Very professional and qualified people -- it's an honor and a pleasure to be their service provider.
