ATM Mirror and Glass Group-HQ

  I found this company in Dwell Mag and saw them on an NBC feature described as the "Trendy" company to use for all things related to architectural glass. I took the trip to visit their POB and trust me, this isnt your "local glass shop". The showroom is tastefully decorated- along with a formal reception, devoid of garish decor generally found in glass shops. Instead, there is just enough glass to be intriguing- complimenting the art deco decor. Walls are adorned with awards and press recognition (something they have received quite a bit of in the last few years). WOW. The real treat (to us in the design field) is a visit to the production floor. Folks, there is not a place like this ANYWHERE in the tri-state (at least outside of Manhattan, trust me, I've looked). Glass of every type house in large storage drawers, fantastic machinery to bevel, polish and cut your glass and in every corner you will see someone fabricating something amazing. Here they make shower doors, glass railings and my personal favorites their Colorwol countertops and crownline dream shower doors (which I saw on the NBC feature). I just finished a project with this company doing shower doors, colorwol countertops and an interior glass railing- believe me, you will not find a comparable service and the cost was not exuberant (actually quite in line with others I had used in the past)- but SO much more stylish and Jim (the owner/design consultant) is amazingly forward thinking and easy to work with. I will be including a feature on this company in my blog- but yes, great things are to come with working with ATM Glass. One visit and you will see just what I mean.

  Without question, the most professional glass company around. I've worked with many over the years and there isn't anyone who comes close to offering what ATM provides. I have worked closely with them on numerous projects, spanning from frameless shower doors to glass railings and each time I have the same result= very pleased client and exceptional product and service. Making me look great;) Seriously, there is a reason why you see them in Dwell and Style Network. They've got that extra zing you wont find from your local run of the mill glass person. Designer friendly in product and professionalism.

  Having all their own processing capabilities- seriously, the shop will take your breath away. I love techy stuff. This place is super cool. Look for their open house shows.
  
  Having Jim. Yes, he is that much of a gem. One of the most "outside of the box" thinking tradespeople I have ever met. You will adore him. Make sure you ask for Jim to do your consult!!!

  Sophisticated and trendy. A must have resource for all things in architectural glass. I have worked with ATM Glass for quite some time now and they never disappoint. Certainly more for the discriminating shopper who wants an elegantly styled glass project. In my years in the design game, I have used many of the more suggested companies, but hands down, no one can offer what ATM does. Saw them in Dwell and NY Times and was intrigued that they were here in my back yard. First impression: much bigger company. Impressive equipment and stock, hustle and bustle gives confidence. I saw machines in operation that actually had me jump some with their automated processing. Fantastic. Go see everyone else then come here. Every corner you turn, something fabulous in glass is being created- counter tops in every rainbow of color, glass shower doors galore. From the designer perspective it was amazing. It was a while since I've seen something new and different and this place has it. Jim, the owner, will delight you with a tour. He's not your typical contractor type. Pleasant and well versed in his business. Very professional to the last detail. Showroom is small yet effective. Decorated with much more sophistication then what you see at other glass shops, void of the garish array of mirrors reminiscent of the 1980's. Walls instead adorned with awards and press coverage, nice portfolio touch. My client's love the one on one attention. I love the fact that I am able to email or call with a request for a price or additional detail and there it's provided. The customer service wont let you down. The shower doors they have done for me are much different that what I had received in the past. Being a European, where much of our architecture incorporates glass, it has been a hard find to get what I wanted. ATM delivers with ease with superb elegance. Offering many styles in hardware I had not seen here in the US until I met them. Pricing has proven to be competitive and consistent and delivery has also been within my expected lead time. All in all, there is a reason why you will find ATM listed in the professionals "black book" of resources. You wont find anyone else as professional and competent. Very happy.

  You will not find any place that does what this place will do. And that folks, is an understatement! I needed a very unusual glass table top replicated for a client in NYC. Jim was the only one who spent the time to work out a *solution* and made me an amazing replica. Did I say amazing? You just can't help but love these guys. After this project (and project it was)- I completely ditched my previous resource for glass. Going to ATM is fun!!!! There is sooo much I can now do with glass for my clients and going over designs with Jim is a blast. So far to date they have done frameless shower doors, an antique mirrored wall, glass furniture piece, several back splashes. Each pops with amazement! This is not your nitty gritty glass shop (designers, you know what I am talking about). This is a place where excitement abounds. Ask for Jim and tell him Jen sent you. My trade secret.
