I love the views and the overlooks but I wish the walking paths were a bit wider had it been possible. That aside, it's a very scenic, pleasurable walk aside from the númeous spotted lanterns flying and hanging out. The Tarrytown landing is nicer than the Nyack landing but both are nice spots to relax before venturing back across the path. Do yourself a favor and walk it at least once ☺️
Walk or cycle across the Hudson River! Excellent views from the northern/westbound side of the bridge. There are several areas for seating and respite along the path; each being unique and having informational placards.
I suggest wearing noise cancelling headphones to suppress the noise of cars & trucks traveling nearby.
New York DOT did a fine job, in my opinion, on this walkway!
It’s a loud walk since it’s essential a “sidewalk” to a highway. But what I loved were all the places to stop with art exhibits and history lessons. It was all very thoughtful. The view is beautiful as well. It’s fun to watch the boats and jet ski’s.
You feel the beauty of nature comingeled with the masterpiece of the architecture. Loved each station on the path during my walking. I stopped on each one of them, and the view is breathtaking.the path for Bycicles and walking, I recommend carrying water with you and dressing up according to the weather condition.
The parking lot at westchester landing has stations to charge electrical cars
