Dr Maddalo is a very experienced and caring orthopedic surgeon and has expertise in joint replacement surgery. We do rehab for his patients and outcomes after surgery is very important because you cannot do these surgeries repeatedly. You want a good surgeon right at the start. I underwent complete right knee replacement surgery at Phelps Hospital
10/19. Dr Maddalo was recommended to me by my surgeon Dr Hochfelder to have nerve ablation surgery to decrease post operative pain. Dr Maddalo is very compassionate and caring and expertly under strict technique preformed right knee nerve ablation preoperatively which greatly reduced my post operative pain. I recommend that anyone about to undergo joint replacement procedure met with Dr Maddalo to discuss this worthwhile procedure.
