I currently have two children attending Annunciation School. I can’t even begin to express how incredibly pleased I am with the school’s academics, faculty and overall nurturing environment. At Annunciation your child isn’t just another nameless number. In fact, the principal treats each and every child as if they were her own. Personally speaking my children absolutely adore Mrs. Noonan and so do I. We are also very blessed with amazing teachers and parents who are extremely involved. Our Home School Association is exceptional, most people are in awe of the many spectacular fun school events they plan and host for our kids. I also love the sense of community I feel. We are truly more like a family. I am extremely confident that my children along with every student at AES will graduate with all the tools needed to set them up for long term success both academically and spiritually. Everyday my children come home so happy and excited to talk about their day, which simply reinforces that I have made the best decision possible by enrolling them at Annunciation Elementary School!
We moved to Crestwood almost four years ago with the hopes of our children entering a school with a strong set of values, in addition to offering a good education, not only did we find that at Annunciation but we also found a community of wonderful people. With two children at Annunciation (and a third entering kindergarten next year) we've had very positive experiences with nurturing teachers who have a strong focus on academics. It is evident the administration enjoys what they do and truly want the children to succeed. In addition, there are a variety of fun school events filled with not only students, parents & faculty in attendance but also numerous volunteers which is testimony to the thriving parent community. Annunciation is truly like a family and a wonderful place to watch your children grow into bright, respectful young adults.
Our experience at Annunciation has been wonderful both academically and socially. We have a son in the 5th grade, a daughter in the 3rd and another daughter entering kindergarten next year. We moved here five years ago and we are very happy that we made the right choice. Our children are thriving in school. The teachers are very dedicated, talented and caring. The principal, Mrs. Noonan, is very committed to our children and giving them a strong Catholic education where good morals and values are just as important as academics. The school has many educational and fun events each year such as author visits, school musicals, a traveling planetarium, Father Daughter Dance, Family Fun Night, CYO sports, among many other things. We have met and have become friends with so many great, kind families here. We feel truly blessed. I would highly recommend Annunciation.
I'm a proud parent of 2 Annunciation students. My wife and I have watched them grow and flourish in this wonderful Catholic school. With great leadership from Mrs. Noonan down to the faculty and staff, Annunciation is so much more than a school. It's an extended family and community that enjoys coming together. Beyond academics and after school clubs, there are events for the whole family to enjoy. Annuciation reminds us of our Catholic experience from St. Brendan's parish in the Bronx ('85 & '87).
I have seen Annunciation through two lenses: as a student and now as a parent. After all these years, Annunciation continues to empower its students, giving them the knowledge, character and ability to become successful high school students and, of course, adults. Just as I did, my two sons, who are in first and third grades, are thriving here, both academically and socially. They are not only learning the core subjects, but are learning how to be respectful and how to be good people. We have had great experiences with each of their teachers so far, and I find the principal to be stern, but fair and approachable. There is so much happening outside of the four walls of school. The school and Home School Association offer many opportunities, like Bingo Night, Family Fun Night and Lip Sync, for students to have fun and for parents to get to know each other better in a more relaxed setting. When you choose to enroll your child at Annunciation, you are not just joining a school, you are joining a community of wonderful people who are all dedicated to making the school great. I cannot say enough good things about Annunciation.
