  I love my pastor, my church family, the worship, the teachings, the holiday productions, and EVERYTHING in between!!! But don't take MY word for it... Come check it out for yourself. My pastor has a saying, "...give me 6 months and your life will NEVER be the same!!!" Well I gave him that 6 months, and that was 7 YEARS AGO!!! Through my pastor Ray, God has changed my life for the BEST!!! I LOVE MY CHURCH!!!

  I started visiting Living Word in 2011. I was a very active Member of another Ministry but needed to attend a Church that had early services because I had started working on a Sunday and needed to get to work afterwards. My Church then had started early services but abruptly stopped so I started earnestly asking God to lead me to a Word based Church that had early services. He answered. One evening after promising a customer to drop something at her home I had to detoured from my usual route home. As I am cruising down Mamaroneck Avenue at about 10:00 p.m. there stood out this cross from among the Rocks with the name Living Word Christian Church. I stopped took down the meeting times, realized they had early services and decided to visit that coming Sunday. Since then, I became a long-standing regular visitor and tither in that Ministry because the teaching was so authentic and to the point, no fluffs. No one pressured me for membership. I was just treated as if I was already a member. I am not a believer is hop-scotching from church-to-church so I remained a member of my old Church while still visiting Living Word as the healing center for the foolishness that started occurring in my Church. After observing the consistency in excellence, especially in the teachings, the humility of Pastor Ray, his willingness to boldly stick to Biblical principles irrespective of who is offended (I do get offended at times), the genuiness of his supporting Ministers juxtaposed against the declining standards of my then Church which became all about prosperity messages, no emphasis on Salvation or Holiness but calling always fir Members, I spoke with my then Pastor in 2015 about moving on. I continued to observe Living Word and became involved in another two Churches: an upstart and my childhood Denomination. Upon the conviction and prompting of the Holy Spirit I decided to officially take up membership in Living Word; that is 7 years after my first in 2018. I am now at peace in my spirit that I have found a real place of worship where God wants me to be at this point in my life.
  To Pastor Ray, “Be blessed and continue to bring the True Unadulterated Living Word of our Supreme God, continue to fearlessly follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit and I do feel Pastor that our Father in Heaven will continue to expand you.” Finally, I can now see this Man of God actually now being at peace with his calling and enjoying the Ministry God had prompted him to build: a truly INTERNATIONAL CHURCH.

  When you pull onto the church’s property, you can’t help notice the incredible concrete stone surrounded by beautiful landscaping. It doesn’t matter what time of year although the summer is my favorite with an amazing abundance of flowers. Then you are assisted with helpful, respectful and thoughtful folks to guide your parking and protect you safely from as you journey from your car to this house of worship.Everyone saying hello as you walk closer to the church. Open the doors and the greeters welcome you woth smiles as if you are VIPs. As you continue to walk, the sounds of the music and singing capture your heart. The thoughtful ushers lead you to a seat as if they have been waiting for you the whole time. As you look around you can’t help but be impressed at the amount of people who are all there for the same reason....to praise God. You can’t help but feel as if you have found everything you are looking for. Then Pastor Ray approaches the stage and when he promises that if you give him six months of listening to him read the preachings from the Bible, that your life will never be the same. Believe it. After your first visit you can understand that you have found everything you ever wanted from a church and pastor. I have been going for two years with my family. My only wish is that I found Living Word Church sooner.
