My wife and I recently moved to the shrub oak area, finding Fred’s auto repair has been a load off our mind! The whole staff are welcoming, honest, fair and most importantly, GREAT MECHANICS! Fred's auto Repair is the type of auto repair shop everyone deserves. They are honest, professional and work in a very timely fashion. Plus their car wash and detailing is amazing. We service all of our vehicles there and always recommend them to our friends and family.

I had new tires installed from Tire Rack at this location. The tires arrived around noon and they were able to get me back out the door including an alignment diagnostic, correction and install of the new tires before 3PM if not earlier. Unfortunately I noted damage on my vehicle, but the team on site was very patient and accommodating regarding reviewing footage with me. They proactively reached out the following morning and allocated time to review on site footage. We discovered that this damage occurred prior to bringing my vehicle on site.

Kudos to the team on their patience and quick install. I offered to buy the team lunch for the inconvenience but they declined.

Fred’s Auto Repair in Shrub Oak is by far the most honest, professional repair shop. They have worked on my Mazda Miata and have successfully repaired all issues in a timely manner with constant communication and explanation of all issues. Won’t go anywhere else!

My husband brought his car to Fred's and was very pleased. When I realized my car inspection was overdue, I called to make an appointment that could fit into my very hectic work schedule. Bill was so pleasant and offered to take me right away. Greg in the office was professional and welcoming. The shop looked spotless too. I will definitely return and recommend giving them a try!
