Creekside Fabrics & Quilts

My elderly mother won't use a computerized sewing machine. Creekside had a good selection of simple machines that are easy to use. I was able to get Mom a sewing machine she loves & can use easily. Staff is very helpful. Great fabric selection too.

We did a road trip with our 4-leggeds to purchase a beautiful custom cotton baby quilt. They were welcome, too.

We were greeted by 1500 bolts of fabric - classic and trendy. Wonderful yarns, patterns galore, PLUS an owner and staff ready to help you further discover who you are creatively through fabrics and yarn. They have advanced & novice quilting and sewing instruction, online classes, and clubs. They also provide alterations and custom sewing. During this Virus and after, you can try something new or different. Give Sandy a call!

And - if you road trip, you can eat across the street at Main Street Grille like we did or at another fun restaurant in town and then visit the local railroad station. Have some fun! And support local business.

Incredible selection of fabrics and materials, and considerable variety of yarns, knitting and crocheting supplies. Nice staff ready to help find materials and advise projects. I haven't attended any classes/workshops here but I love that they offer them!

Went here to buy yarn, and was very pleased by their selection! Definitely a fabric first place, but don't let that deter you. Also, the lady at the desk (whose name I don't remember!) was very helpful. She came and found me and have me good advice on what to buy for my project. We had a nice conversation.

Beautiful quilt shop in a lovely historic location. Delightful owner who made this visit very special.
