We had a fun day at Animal Park. There is an interesting collection of wild animals, all brought here from other facilities (mostly because those closed down), from private owners who thought it was a good idea to keep wild animals as pets, or after they were otherwise rescued. You will see many types of wild cats, including various Lynx species, jungle cats, cervals, leopards, tigers, lions, as well as foxes, wolves, dingos. There are a few indoor terrariums with snakes and an iguana. Animals have enough room to roam, play and hide. You will find mostly volunteers at the park, and they are always looking for more. All the staff and volunteers we met were wonderful and welcoming. Everyone seems to care about these animals, but it is clear they need more donations and more help to maintain the enclosures. I hope more good samaritans find this place. My husband and I plan to volunteer and learn more about the animals.

The people, the animals, the entire trip (even though it was slightly rainy) was phenomenal. We got to hear the wolves howl, the lions roar, and the tigers play. They keep the animals top priority and you can tell. The atmosphere is calm and you just want to stay. There are so many ways to help and support this conservation out so please check it out and do what you feel you should do support them! It is worth meeting the people and the animals. ❤️

Decided to check this place out for my 30th birthday, and I have to say I was NOT disappointed!!! Even though it rained and kept some of the unique animals asleep inside their little homes, I was still able to experience and see some amazing animals up close-likes Gray wolves, tigers, and lions! I got to hear the wolves howl not once but 3 or 4 times, and the lions roar 2 or 3 times. The tour guide was an absolute darling, and was so knowledgeable about the animals as a species and about the individual animals themselves. The staff and volunteers love the animals in their care, and it really shows. If you are considering checking out an awesome animal park, I definitely recommend this one! You will not be disappointed-even if your tour is in the rain!

WOW!! We cannot recommend this enough. Don’t hesitate, just book a tour! We had an AMAZING time on our guided tour, which I highly recommend as you learn a lot about the animals. Don’t let the chain link fences turn you off - you will see within 2 seconds of being there just how much the keepers and tour guides LOVE the animals and it is so sweet how the animals love them back. They get so excited to see the tour guide coming near their habitat and they are so interactive. Our tour guide knew how to speak to each animal, doing impressive animal calls, and getting the animals to “speak” back. It was so cool! From the wolves howling, to the lions roaring and literally shaking the ground, to all the other incredibly unique animals like BABY TIGERS and all kinds of other cat and dog species, plus rainforest animals we have never even heard of….it was just an experience to remember and we will definitely be back and bring all our friends!

This place was a pleasant surprise. As a person who deeply cares about animal rights and welfare, I always get a bit on my guard when I see facilities with wild animals, mainly because I know some places don't properly care for these animals as they should. With Animal Park at the Conservators Center, that is far from the case. The staff and volunteers evidently care very deeply for the animals in their care and take interacting with them seriously and with the proper amount of awareness and caution. Even though it's never easy to see wild animals in penned areas, unfortunately with climate change and humans overusing natural resources and exploiting these animals, a lot of wild animals get displaced. This makes me grateful places like the Animal Park exist to provide them a home. The animals have a pretty fair amount of space and are given enrichment and company as appropriate. With the park serving to educate the public, the volunteers and staff are open about how they operate and care for the animals and how the animals came into their care; so feel free to ask questions during the tour. It's worth the time and money. Plus, the animals are breathtaking and a reminder that we need to protect our planet at all costs to save these animals from extinction. They deserve to share this Earth with us, and this Earth wouldn't be as beautiful without them.
