  I spent weeks with my (then) 93 year old father looking at various sites in the Triangle area for him to move to. He was moving from Florida so he wanted a place that would facilitate his meeting new people and would have a variety of activities that were age appropriate. We toured over a dozen places in Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill, Apex, Raleigh, and Pittsboro. Galloway Ridge stood out as the front runner for both me and my dad. It had a first class feel to it (with all the services to match) plus it just felt like home. The site is in a natural rural setting yet close to all the needed conveniences. Perfect balance. We were both hooked.

  We moved to Galloway Ridge just ahead of the pandemic and are so thankful we did! It was wonderful to have an extremely secure place and amazingly responsive staff to make our home life as comfortable as possible, while waiting for things to get better. If you read all the earlier posts about how terrific Galloway Ridge is, know that we heartily agree! The residents are extremely friendly and come from many backgrounds and places. This makes life interesting. You can be as involved as you wish, or not, with no pressure either way. Our apartment thrilled us with the remodeling done upon move in. It's secure, convenient and lovely. We can't think of a better place to be and we did a lot of investigation!!

  My husband and I have been residents of Galloway Ridge for 5 years. It was one of the best decisions we could have made. The staff is compassionate, caring, and goes out of their way to help you with any of your needs. Living at Galloway is more than changing your residence, it is changing your lifestyle. You are suddenly free to travel, volunteer, and participate in a wide variety of activities and entertainment that are offered every day. It is what we envisioned a retirement should be.

  We moved to Galloway Ridge from Chapel Hill in October, 2016. We knew other CCRC facilities in the area. Galloway has proven to be outstanding. The staff -- marketing, management, services -- are excellent and caring. The underlying contract is excellent. The facilities are very good. The programs offered to residents range from physical to mental to spiritual. Transportation is generous and appreciated both for individuals and groups. Flexibility of meal plans enables choice on the excellent food offered in the three restaurants, unless the resident chooses to prepare their own meals. We feel very fortunate to be in Galloway Ridge, part of a talented, generous, civic-minded group of residents!

  My wife and I visited several places in the Triangle area and Galloway Ridge received my vote almost immediately. Within 24 hrs we made the decision to come to Galloway Ridge. The facility is very nice and clean. We were impressed with the Duke Health clinic there on campus. The residences were very nice and comfortable. We spoke with several residents and all seemed very happy there. I also liked the wood working shop, the pool and the gym area. The campus was beautiful and we enjoyed being out in the country but with shopping and town close by. We are very comfortable with are decision
