  Cocktails at the bar were The best on the island. The young lady who was bartending made some really amazing drinks. I suggest whether you stay there or not you definitely go and enjoy the bar.

  As soon as we arrived in Corolla, we knew we had reached a very special place. The Wild Horse Inn made our experience even more special! The Oliva family made us feel welcomed throughout our entire visit. We're not the only ones who feel that way, as the locals can't get enough of this place! The innkeepers have truly created a wonderful space for everyone to enjoy all year long. They have built up a great community there. We got to enjoy a Kentucky Derby party while we were there! The rooms are lovely: clean, comfortable, modern and well decorated. The gathering area downstairs is inviting and fun. The Inn is within walking distance of anything you might need while in Corolla. We are hooked and will be back again!!

  Fabulous place!!!
  
  We would stay here again and again.
  
  When we left, we found a handwritten note from the owner on our truck's windshield, wishing us safe travels on the rest of our vacation.
  
  That note is indicative of the detail and thought that went into designing and maintaining this inn.
  
  We recommend a stay here.

  From the moment we walked through the doors, it was like being welcomed by dear friends! The Oliva Family has thought of everything you might want or need for a Corolla getaway. They’ve created a quaint Inn (and Cafe!) that is sure to become one of Corolla’s highlights. Impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated down to every detail, and so relaxing - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

  Cannot say enough about the owner John and the hospitality being A++. We drove 8 hours to Corolla to for a different accommodation with “Resort Realty” and The house was a disaster. The Wild Horse Inn hooked us up in the middle of the night when we were about to sleep on the beach with kids. If you want a CLEAN, QUIET, MODERN PLACE TO STAY IN the outer banks. This is your place. Beds were comfortable, and we were one mile from the drive on beach. Amazing pizza next door and there’s even a bar with great food attached to the Inn.
  
  This will be our #1 pick from now on. John even helped us find a long term 5 bedroom house for our whole family!
