Having one’s kitchen renovated is a daunting undertaking. But… to our pleasant surprise, our experience turned out to be far less stressful than anticipated and even fun – thanks to the superb management of Ajax Woolley, the contractor we chose to do our kitchen.

The keys to our positive experience were his careful planning and consistently outstanding communication – we invariably knew what we could expect and were clear about our options. He would appropriately caution us of possible structural issues we might encounter and which could affect the initial plan once the walls and cabinets were removed. Ajax also would respond to our emails or telephone calls promptly and clearly.

Throughout the construction, we were amazed at how free of dust and debris the whole space was. Even though our temporary, make-shift kitchen was mere feet away from the construction site, we were able to prepare and cook our meals daily with the confidence that our foods, dishes and cooking supplies were clean.

Ajax was always respectful of the fact it was our home and therefore our project; he demonstrated this respect by taking pains to explain to us our options, their pros and cons, impact on cost and so forth. Thanks to his careful, thorough approach to the project and the high caliber of his subcontractors, we had confidence we would get quality results.

Boy, are we pleased with the outcome! We love our new kitchen as well as the living/dining space into which the kitchen now flows. We find ourselves spending far more time there than we ever dreamed and truly enjoy every minute. Even our cats love the new space!
