Dr. Maggie Williams is absolutely wonderful! It's so nice to have a primary care physician who you can trust! She takes time with me, asks what questions I have, etc. I just love having her as my physician. She's outstanding!!!!
I am 32 and not a fan of PCP's. In '15/'16 I needed a primary doctor, but had bad coverage, could only see duke providers (and a $8k deductible). So, this was a "temporary solution" & was determined to get better ins. & a private practice. I've always worked for doctors, so I expect so much from them. I've been in a specialty clinic for 9yrs. Our MD is kind & gets to know pts. Difficult to find that level of care, especially @ DUKE clinic...I thought. From day 1, Dr. Williams has been awesome, she's easy to talk to, knowledgeable, caring & considerate. About 1yr+ ago, I got great coverage (any doctor/$0 deductible) but I don't plan on switching. Just had another appt this week and so happy I found her. I don't feel rushed, thoroughly explains everything, comfortable and is NORMAL. Definitely recommend her, well... the whole clinic.
(I saw Dr. Mathias for a flu/cold & he was nice, informative & thorough. Personally, I prefer a female MD, but we do see lot's of their patients & hear great things)
I love, love, love Dr. Williams. I started going to Duke family Medicine when i first moved to North Carolina in 2014 and i was very pleased. She was the first doctor i seen and i never want to see anyone else. The only downfall to having her as a doctor is i'm not the only one who loves her and she's always booked at least 2 to 3 weeks out. So do not go to her, we don't need anymore patients taking up our slots. lol just kidding
Dr Maggie Williams is the best Dr. I have ever had. At 52 with 3 pregnancies under my belt I have seen a lot of Dr.'s. Dr Williams is a great listener and it is evident how much she cares. I now have my entire family seeing Dr. Williams. It was the best thing I could for my 2 putting them in the capable and kind hands of Dr. Maggie Williams.
