  My experience at Lars Oliver Salon has always been excellent. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and approaches their work with professionalism and pride. Kristen has been taking care of my hair for 10 years, having seen it through many transitions and styles. She's creative, honest, and has the perfect eye for what will suit me best. Not only has she invested in me as a client, but she has also helped me find my own vision of personal style and self care: a tremendous gift. I would recommend her and Lars Oliver Salon with strong enthusiasm!

  Lars was recommended back in 2009 by a neighbor's fussy teenage boy, and I have been going to him ever since. First it was me, then my daughter, then my husband, now my two sons also visit him. He is professional, efficient, and listens attentively. Our busy schedules means we sometimes have to cancel or request crazy hours for appointments. He hasn't complained once. 5 gold stars for 9 years of service... thanks Lars Oliver!!!

  I've been going to Kristin for almost 10 years. She is amazing!! Now that I live in another state I still come back to Durham so she can cut my hair!!! The salon is super clean and beautiful. Everyone there is friendly and professional. I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else!

  Kristen is absolutely the BEST. I drive ever 6 weeks from Virginia for a touch up color and cut. She always listens to my thoughts on my hair and give me exactly what I want. She goes out of her way to accommodate. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
