J. Mark Oliver DDS PA

Not wanting to consult the internet, and our regular dentists being in Pittsburgh, PA, I asked for a dentist referral from a friend and long time Winston Salem resident. My 17 year old daughter, who was/is in rehearsal for a principal role in classical ballet at UNCSA for Spring Dance was having a problem with a tooth! Horrible timing. Though booked, Dr. Oliver’s staff made an emergency appointment for her the next day! The staff and Dr. Oliver were kind, patient, and very informative. Shortly after that visit, I scheduled routine cleanings for both daughter, husband and myself. It was no small feat, but the front office staff worked with me, including alerting me to a cancellation that I immediately took for the dancer. It was a perfect time, because she noted the times that would work during our conversation:-). In terms of my personal cleaning and visit, it was wonderful. After she cleaned my teeth, my hygienist, who had shown me pictures of my teeth prior to the start, worked diligently attempting to remove them. I take great care of my teeth and it was nice that she (don’t know if I am allowed to say her name, but it begins with an “M”) took time with me to not only clean my teeth but attempt to remove stubborn stains and give me information to ensure that my teeth, and next visit, would be even better. Dr. Oliver then examined and discussed my teeth. He also noted that he was happy to have met my family! How cool is that? He connected and acknowledged our existence as a unit. Recognizing that he valued us trusting him with all sets of our teeth, which we plan to keep for life, truly matters and is appreciated. The Husband said it was the best cleaning he has ever had. He had a different hygienist (name begins with “B”), from mine and the girls, meaning it wouldn’t have mattered which hygienist any of us received, we would have had a great cleaning! Our children started attending schools in NC the fall prior to the pandemic, and I had been scheduling our dentist appointments around trips back to Pittsburgh. Now, all appointments will be purposefully made in Winston Salem, NC with Dr. Oliver and staff! From the front of the house to the back and front again, everyone was helpful, engaging, and excellent at what they are there to do! Thank you

This place is absolutely wonderful! Doctor Oliver and Millie are so honest and open about every step they are going to be doing. They are very considerate and make sure you are comfortable. I haven’t been to the dentist in several years and they made it a breeze! I’m glad to call this my new dentist office! This place is amazing, so if you’re looking for a friendly, caring, funny place to come to that will make you feel at ease come here! :-)

Dr. Oliver and his staff are always professional and friendly. They have great lines of communication, which are effective and responds in a timely manner. Brandi, one of his longest dental tech is the best. She always make me and my daughter feel comfortable. I would recommend this dentistry to anyone who is looking for a dentist, they are the best!

Great experience. Every staff member I came in contact with with was very nice and very professional. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was excellent! There were things done that I’ve never had done at another dentist office. She was also very nice and very friendly. Dr. Oliver was great too. Professional, personable and easy to talk to. Going to a dentist’s office isn’t on my “fun” list of things to do but the Doctor put me at ease and the experience was great. I will be recommending your office.

Dr. Oliver is most professional & me & my family have been patients since he initially started his practice. His staff appears to be like family and he has had employees working for him since he started. It’s refreshing to go for services where everyone knows your name in addition to the excellent care we’ve received. Would highly recommend this dental practice.
