This is my second time. Each day was excellent care from the OT‘s PT’s ST. All the staff was there to help you in any situation. My only improvement would be for the patience to check on medication’s versus the medication list that they have been on before coming in. It was a joy to see each therapist there enthusiasm for you to get better. They had a careful eye on all that you were doing to make sure you were doing it correctly. I will also add the rooms were private, and had excellent views when you need your time to rest. I highly recommend.

My fiancé stayed here recently. There are two perspectives to speak about, and those would be my own from a visitor, and my fiancé’s as a patient. From my own experience, the staff was welcoming, accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable. The admission staff (specifically Jessica his case worker and Jackie his liaison) was exceptionally fast to communicate. When I asked questions, they ALWAYS had an answer within minutes and made me feel very comfortable about my fiancé staying there.

As for my fiancé, from a patient’s point of view, his experience was WONDERFUL. His room and bathroom stayed clean. The nurses (day and night shift) had a fast response time to the call light. They made sure that he felt comfortable during vulnerable moments. The kitchen staff adjusted his diet to his specific needs and allergies. Last but not least, the nurses made an effort to treat my fiancé as a person and individual rather than just a patient.

As for the physical therapists, my fiancé was BEYOND impressed by Maddy in PT and Jack in OT. They pushed him hard in therapy and took his concerns seriously. Mary the wound nurse was also vital to his healing process. She was gentle with his wounds and educated ME on how to do his dressings and how to properly take care of them for when we went home. I would recommend this rehabilitation hospital to ANYBODY and EVERYBODY.
