Mathnasium was just what we needed for our two older girls. There were no more tears from them over math.... or from me! The tutors were excellent -- not just knowledgeable, but able to explain math in different ways for a variety of learning styles to comprehend and make sense of. THANK YOU for saving us from our math woes!

Due to the inherent difficulties of remote learning, my daughter (8 years old; 3rd grade), fell behind in math and we immediately signed her up in Mathnasium to help her out. She's been going consistently for 7 months now and her EOG indicates that she is on grade level now for math, even though throughout most of the year she has been behind. I absolutely attribute this growth to Mathnasium.

Besides the obvious work in math, I think a major strength of Mathnasium is an emphasis in "growth mindset". As a college educator, I see "fixed mindset" for math very often -- "I am not good at math"; "I can't do math"; "math is hard". Mathnasium encourages children to apply a growth mindset to math (and practicing this mindset encourages its use in other parts of their life) -- "With practice and effort, you can do any of these problems!"; "math is knowable; it can be figured out"; "anyone can be good at math!".

The staff here is also diverse and I appreciate that. It's important to me that my daughter sees women who are great at math here and that just becomes totally normal to her (which it is!) instead of the stereotype that "math is for boys" which still is sadly prevalent.

For high-quality, small-group tutoring, the prices here are reasonable and on par with other tutoring options. I highly recommend this service and I plan on continuing with my daughter into her next school year. Every single career involves math at some level so I consider it a great investment!

My son Tyler loves Mathnasium. When school went virtual and he started AP Calculus this Fall, he really struggled not having face to face instructions and was feeling very defeated. He was testing poorly and was feeling stressed. After just two sessions with Derek, he actually scored 103 on his next text! Not only did he get all the questions correctly, but he got the extra credit too! He continues to go every week because he loves the place and he really likes his tutor. I am very grateful for Mathnasium because I certainly could not have gotten him through AP Calc on my math skills!

Our daughter had been attending for about a year. Chris and his staff is wonderful to work with. They spend quality time with each student to make sure they understand the solution to the math problem. Highly recommend.

Words could never express my gratitude to Chris for what he has done for me. Him and his team at Mathnasium are FANTASTIC. They continue to do an excellent job for my son and my daughter. They both actually look forward to going to math tutoring right after school and on weekends. I am absolutely blown away at the confidence my daughter has gained when doing her math. If your child is struggling with math, this is the place to bring them. You will not be disappointed. They will truly begin to say these magic words - I Love Math. Mathnasium where were you guys when I was going to school?
