I went for my 1st visit. The office took me 45 minutes early for my appointment. Dr. Rankin is very personable, and very thorough. I am so glad I found him to explain my eye problems. Thank you Dr. Rankin and staff for a great experience.

I am extremely thankful for Dr. Rankin and his entire staff. I highly recommend this practice.
He has saved my vision on three separate occasions. The wait time is usually minimal, but on the rare occasion I have to wait a little longer than usual, I know that he is busy saving someone else’s vision.:-)

Dr Rankin was recommended by the Dr that in my opinion, botched my 88 year old dad’s cataract surgery causing his retina to become detached. I had to drive him to the appointments that happened about every 3 months because it took time between surgeries to heal so the next surgery could be preformed.
Yes, there was always a wait beyond the scheduled appointment to get in to see Dr Rankin each time, but he always took his time with my dad and made sure we both understood everything and were comfortable with how things were progressing and what the next step would be.
My dad was a very humble WWII & Korean War Navy Vet (now interred at Arlington National Cemetery) and Dr Rankin was always so personable and always had questions for my dad about the Battle in the Pacific. My anxiety caused me to worry about all the folks waiting in the lobby, like we had waited, but his sincere interest and in my Dad went a long way in convincing him to go through the process to repair his vision, which was successful.
It makes me tear up as I write this long over due review when I think about how my Dad opened up and talked to Dr Rankin about his experiences in WWII, this was something I rarely experienced as my Dad rarely spoke of his time in the Navy. I am forever grateful to Dr Rankin for restoring my Dad’s vision and his way of treating my Dad like he was all that mattered!
