Checking in I was asked if I had a reservation or I need a room. I said I would need a room for the night and wanted to use my points for the stay. She didn’t hear me say that. So when I went to sign the paper I noticed I was being charged so I brought it up and she had to get someone who was sitting in the office. They told me I would have to go on the site to book the room in order to use my points. But they couldn’t figure out how to refund my money. The lady said the girl was new and didn’t have a chance to train her. Just a suggestion in order for an employee to succeed at their job is to be properly trained. So that lady could have been out there even just sitting out there listening to her checking in the customers. She did say she would deposit some extra points for the inconvenience but I don’t know how many.
The room was spacious and comfortable although there was a sock under the desk so that made me question the house keepers cleaning. Also our toliet was kind of hard to flush room 206. They have a safe deposit box in the rooms. Mini fridge and a microwave.
Downstairs there is a snack machine.
They do serve breakfast- basic hotel breakfast. Sausage, cereal, eggs, pancakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls (which were very tasty) coffee juice ect.
Location- doesn’t seem like it’s a bad area and near plenty of restaurants.
