Stopped by as we waited for a concert…best decision! Chopped pork sandwich was perfect. Tender, juicy, and seasoned well. Great sauces to complement. Their slaw pairs with the que amazingly! Not the largest menu but has the essentials. Not too much to overwhelm you.
Seating area is quaint with bar seating available. Servers were very helpful, too. No dry cups on the table.
If I’m in Greensboro again, I’ll visit for sure!
Food: Chopped pork plate comes with fresh hushpuppies and homemade red slaw, all excellent! The hushpuppies are best when dining in, as are all hot breads.
Service: Friendly and quick.
Atmosphere: casual, family friendly
Come in and seat yourself. There server will be there by the time you're settled in. Menus are on the table. Place your order and the food will arrive before you can get back from the restroom! Quick, good, easy meal. And plenty of food.
Very good Lexington style BBQ. The peach cobbler is homemade and very good. Prices are super cheap; very surprising. Kind staff, clean restrooms, clean and fast service. Very much recommended.
This was my first time to Greensboro and I wanted some authentic NC BBQ and Stacey's didn't disappoint!
I got a combo meal to try both the pork and the chicken at my waitress Aaliyah's suggestion and it was phenomenal.
The hush puppies were perfectly done too.
The BBQ sauce is vinegar based, which I am not used to, but it was actually really good. I don't often eat collard greens, but I took their suggestion and added vinegar to it and was delightfully surprised.
The slaw isn't mayo based, it's all vinegar based. So if you like BBQ and vinegar and want something that is authentic, come here.
We hit the drive thru for our first visit. Quick, friendly and easy to navigate through. We also had a lesson on the Family sauces. Ordered the quarter chicken plate and sliced pork. The chicken was juicy and moist. The sliced pork was tender and juicy. Nice first experience and plenty of parking!
