PTC is AMAZING! My child sees Ms Kelly and never wants to leave! It is literally a screaming tantrum when it is time to leave because she has so much fun. Would recommend to anyone considering speech for their child!

My daughter has been seeing Marcie for about a month. Marcie is so sweet and great with kids. My daughter is already making progress and loves to go!
I also really appreciate that Blake is very thorough in explaining how they do everything there, getting the proper referrals etc, scheduling etc. I'm happy we came across this office. The wait time here was reasonable and great customer service.

Kelly is amazing! I can’t tell her thank enough! At the age of almost 13 she taught my son to say his name & also say I love you. She is creative, kind, flexible & fun! She is a gift to our son & our family! His speech is getting better with each visit. People are always commenting how much his speech has improved.

On behalf of my entire family, we would like to say thank you Ms. Kelly for helping us bring a voice to my sister. My little sister was diagnosed with autism as a toddler. Before beginning our sessions at the age of 20 years old my sister was still non-verbal with the only attempts of speech that would be a single sound such as “GAH” or “BAH” that would be used for weeks for everything before switching to another sound for a few weeks. Any attempts of sounds or words were always a struggle. This often had my sister frustrated unable to communicate with us or others. In frustration, she would often have fits and tantrums.

That all changed dramatically once my sister began her sessions with Ms. Kelly. Ms. Kelly gave us knowledgeable guidance on things such as verbal prompting and other forms of insight that empowered us to teach my sister how to switch sounds and words with ease. After just a few weeks in the sessions, my sister was able to switch from the sounds “HA”, “GA”, “BA”, “BOW”, “MMM”, “PA”, “TRA”, “CHA”, etc. in moments with ease and control. Seeing the excitement my sister had on her face from being empowered means the world to us. This was something she never did her whole life.

Ms. Kelly went beyond just teaching my sister how to communicate and empowering us to help her, she also introduced us to additional resources that for years no one ever made aware to us were available for my sister. She helped us to partake in them. We had no idea my sister could have her sessions paid for or receive a communication pad through insurance. She helped us through insurance get a PRC Accent and pay for the sessions. With the pad, my sister’s pronunciation even started to improve.

Once we incorporated the pad a major shift happened in my sister’s behavior. Instead of having as many fits and tantrums out of frustration, she started grabbing the pad to find the thing she wanted to communicate. What was once confusion is no longer. Our family is now able to better understand her wants and needs. Her teachers from school even started noticing a difference in her behavior and became amazed at her ability to pronounce new sounds and words.

It has been a few months since my sister turned 21 and insurance no longer covers the sessions. Despite that, we have not had a session in months, Ms. Kelly still checks on us from time to time to see how my sister is doing with everything.

As I write this, I reflect on how today how my sister saw Chick-fil-A on the back of a sponsored ARC shirt and said chicken. I showed her a few ways to pronounce chicken better. She smiled as she heard the improvements. She was able to make in adjustments in her pronunciation. Me knowing how to guide her and her being able to make the adjustments was not known before our sessions with Ms. Kelly.

If you have someone you love who needs the help of a speech pathologist, I recommend you get started with Ms. Kelly right away. It is never too late or early for the one you love to have their life to change for the better.

    Thank you again, Ms. Kelly.
