  A Shade Better installed two different types of window coverings in my home several years ago. They have held up well in a much lived-in home. Their service is also excellent. I highly recommend.

  What a wonderful store. My mom needed to replace broken brackets for blinds she already had in her window. They gave her the name of a website that specialized in brackets ( especially ones for older blinds ) the only problem , when the brackets came they were too small. My mom went out to the store to show them the brackets. They agreed she needed something a little bigger, found some spare brackets that would fit her blinds better. Could not have been more helpful or nice. A lovely store. Thank you ladies!

  Couldn’t be happier with the quality and service we received from A Shade Better! We purchased blinds from them a year and a half ago, the service was amazing from the moment we entered the store, to the time they finished with the installation. We contacted them a few weeks ago to let them know that the blinds were starting to fray on the edges. They immediately sent someone to the house to take a look at them. Even though they were not under warranty, they installed new replacement blinds a few days later! They were responsive, professional, quick and very friendly. John the installer is professional and great! This is why we as local businesses and members of the community need to support local business like this. I am positive we would not have received this kind of service from a national chain. Thank you A Shade Better for the great experience!

  The wonderful lady who helped me gave me some free clips so I could hang up a wood valance. The clip worked great (the kind we had been using must have been discontinued.)
  Very grateful to her and this store!!

  A Shade Better is the only place I want to do business with for my home. Their employees are top notch and great to work with. Everyone was so helpful, and I could not have been more pleased with the results. The showroom has a lot of great samples on display, and the staff is more than willing to explain features and offer suggestions.
